46 years ago today, Styx released Crystal Ball, their sixth studio album and first to feature Tommy Shaw on guitar and vocals, on October 1, 1976. In a Styxworld exclusive, Shaw, co-founding guitarist/vocalist James “JY” Young, and co-founding bassist Chuck Panozzo tell us how the album came together, in addition to their newest bandmember guitarist/vocalist Will Evankovich, co-founding Heart guitarist/vocalist Nancy Wilson, and Loverboy lead singer Mike Reno also tell us just how important the album is to each of them to this day.
